DECORATE LIKE A PRO

When you buy a brand new townhome at Century Village, you’ll have gorgeous spaces to decorate and truly make your own. Here are some tips to inspire you:
SNAP IT. The great thing about cell phones are the built in cameras. When you are out and about, take photos of inspiration you find. Maybe it’s the décor of a restaurant you love or a piece of fabric you notice while clothes shopping or maybe it’s the color of the sky that day. Inspiration is everywhere!
LOOK. When hanging art work, try not to place above eye level.
MAKE IT ODD. One trick artists and designers use is the power of odd numbers. Group items in 3’s, or 5’s.
TEST THE COLOR. Try not to paint without doing a test patch. Those little paint samples are nice, but light can be deceiving. Since most stores now offer a complimentary small bottle, this is easier than ever.
GET PERSONAL. Use your family photos and children’s art to show your unique personality. Frame them up in the same frames and hang together as a grouping to give them a gallery feel.
SHOW NO FEAR. Don’t be afraid to decorate. The best thing about owning your home is showing your personal sense of style! Choose an inspiration object you can center a room around. Objects from your travels, or an old music record album cover are great for color inspiration and mood.

The GG Strawberry Fest is next month!

April 20th, 2012

We can’t believe it’s only a month away! The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival has lots of fun and exciting carnival rides, games, food booths, incredible strawberry desserts and special events. The traditional parade is always popular. There are karaoke contests, a tiny tots king and queen contest, celebrities, music performances and so much more.
